Who Are North Edge:

North Edge manages over £900m of private equity funds aimed at lower-mid market buy-out and development capital transactions in the Technology, Healthcare, Business Services and Specialised Industrials sectors..

The Problem:

North Edge wanting to improve the working conditions of their employees by upgrading their old open plan office furniture with new, current desks where static bench desks. The budget and time frames where tight, and the project needed to be done with minimum fuss to the workings of there busy office. Current ask was to replace current static desk with new and provide acoustic shelter, desk and cable management.

The Solution:

Act_ive De_sk provided an active furniture solution that not only fell within their budget (surprise to the ops director) but surpassed their expectations. We switched their current static desk working to a active working setting by providing our single sit stand desks. We re-planned by space planning their existing open plan layout and made it more efficient and better for employee health and well-being. The existing 34No desks where removed and recycled on the Friday and we delivered and installed 34No new Act_ive De_sk’s, along with pedestals, acoustic screens and full cable management on the Saturdays and Sunday.
The staff returned to work on the Monday with what looked like a new office, but best of all an Active Office!
